Olive oil presentation

I’m excited I’m gonna hold my first solo olive oil tasting in South West London!

It’s going to take place next Tuesday 19th June in Ben’s canteen in Earsfield at 7pm

You will have the chance to taste 5 extra virgin olive oil and a glass of Spanish wine

I will provide as well a catalan tomato toast and you can drizzle on top with your selected oil: arbequina, picual, empeltre, serrana and the blend between arbequina and argudell.

Empeltre, serrana and the blend oils aren’t easily found in London but they are very popular in Catalonia and Valencia, its taste is singular and highly appreciated.

Olives from Andalucia region will be included as well so you can have a relaxed time listening about the farmers history and attributes of each oil and follow some steps to taste them.

You will have the chance to taste arbequina from Oli Migjorn ( Bages county in Barcelona), picual and empeltre from Montsagre (Terra Alta county in Tarragona) and a blend from arbequina and argudell typical of Girona ( Emporda county)  representing Catalonia region

Lagrima from Cooperative Viver represents Valencia region with its serrana variety as a popular one and belonging to Slow Food movement  quality is assured.

Mas Auro and Montsagre have participated in international competitions and recently been awarded at London Olive Oil Competition ( Mas Auro) and New York olive oil competition ( Montsagre). Oli Migjorn aromatic oils were awarded Great Taste Awards 2016.

Participating in an olive oil tasting is a new experience for many Londoners who are interested in gourmet tastings or healthy choices.
