A tiny olive which can be used as table olive or to extract oil is a staple in every Catalan home for lunches, dinners or with a glass of wine.

Add some garlic, herbs or lemon and you'll taste a unique olive!

Olives are categorised according to their size and they are stored in oil presses or underground deposits, where they add water to the olives and then salt, if necessary.

The oil presses are regularly checked during the whole process of natural fermentation. When the olives are ready, they are classified by hand and any broken or split olives are thrown away. Once this process is complete, the olives are packaged.

The process is totally natural; they do not use any additives or preservatives

Arbequina can be consumed as table olive or turned into extra virgin olive oil

  • a chopped fresh lemon
  • peppercorns
  • chillies
  • bay leaves and garlic cloves
